Our Hygienists

We have all worked together for many years so that you know the same dentist will be there to welcome and treat you whenever you return. Our team of dentists who qualified in Australia, New Zealand and the UK are continually furthering their professional education so that as a practice we provide state-of-the-art dentistry and embrace and strive to find new technologies.

Sally Tucker R.D.H (GDC No: 3108)

Sally qualified as a dental hygienist from Guys Dental Hospital where she was awarded the “Hu Friedy” scaling prize, and also has a diploma in Dental Health Education from the Royal Society of Health.

She is a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy (B.S.D.H.T.).

With over 20 years experience as a dental hygienist, Sally regularly attends regional meetings and professional development courses to keep her skills and knowledge updated. She is a committed believer in lifelong learning.

Her working week is split between the James St. Dental practice and a north London practice.

Deborah Wolfinden EDH RCS (Eng) BSc (Hons) (GDC No: 107272)

Deborah is an 11-year experienced highly professional, very gentle and caring hygienist who absolutely loves her job.
She firmly believes that "prevention is better than cure" and has had a variety of experience treating patients with periodontal disease, anxiety/dental fear, special needs and overall systemic health concerns. Deborah puts her patients at ease with her friendly manner and takes pride in providing the utmost quality treatment of care to each and every patient, tailoring the treatment to every patients need to ensure their visit is a very positive and pleasant experience.

 

She is a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy and keeps proactive and up to date by regularly attending courses throughout the year. Deborah is a Direct Access Hygienist.

Magdalena Deska (GDC No: 223602)

Magdalena qualified in Poland in 2014 as a dental hygienist.

Prior to becoming a dental hygienist Magdalena worked as a dental nurse for several years in West End practice with a specialist in periodontics.

Magdalena enjoys the challenge of complex periodontal cases, especially working with nervous patients easing them through treatments.  

She is very interested in all aspects of dentistry and has a keen interest in her patients’ oral hygiene education & promotion and focuses strongly on oral disease prevention. 

She is a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy (BSDHT).
