Wrinkle relaxing treatments, dermal fillers and other non-surgical cosmetic procedures such as Profhilo can be combined in different areas of the face to improve persistent facial lines, restore volume that has been lost, and give a healthier, fresher appearance.​
Profhilo is a hyaluronic acid (HA) based ‘injectable moisturiser’ that boosts skin hydration from the inside out.
Containing one of the highest concentrations of HA in the market, Profhilo stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which is lost as we age, and attracts water in the deeper layers of skin. This in turn improves skin laxity, restores its firmness, and refreshes the skin
The most common areas of treatment include the face, neck, décolletage, and hands.
As a stabilised product, the activity on dermal cells will last longer than that of a non-stabilised gel. During this time the stimulation of four different types of collagen and elastin takes place by slow release of hyaluronic acid.
The stimulation results in significant tissue improvement. Therefore we cannot say that Profhilo is a skin booster as it also has a significant tightening / lifting effect on the tissue.
